Description

I specially crafted the Noted Espresso to be a delight for your tastebuds. This delicately crafted espresso blend of South American, Central American, and Indonesian beans has just the right amount of zip, balance, creaminess, nuttiness, and chocolatiness to rival the best espresso’s you’ve tasted. Super creamy, bright citrus notes, toasted peanut (you can smell it when you open the bag) and sweet chocolate notes can be found in this espresso coffee.

Perfect for espressos, lattes, and other concentrated blended drinks, but also makes an excellent pour-over.

Also available wholesale for coffee shops, cafes, and other businesses.

A good espresso blend is vital for making awesome espresso shots. Espresso is a strong coffee that’s the base for drinks like cappuccinos and lattes. It’s not actually a distinct type of coffee, it’s just a specific way to brew coffee. Espresso beans therefore are just regular coffee beans that have been blended and roasted in a particular way to achieve just the right taste when brewed via an espresso machine. The right mix of coffee beans makes a big difference in the taste.

A well blended and well roasted espresso will taste rich, smooth, and just a little bit sweet or nutty or like chocolate, depending on the beans used. When I craft espresso the balance of flavors is super important to me. Not all coffees blend well, and many coffees blended together taste worse than the original.

You may have had chocolate covered espresso beans – these are also not a unique type of coffee, these are just darkly roasted coffee beans that are roasted dark enough to crumble easily when you chew them (so you probably don’t want to cover my espresso beans in chocolate since they closer to a medium roast!)

When I crafted the Noted Espresso blend I took particular note of perceived “strength” and whether or not I could taste the coffee in all areas of my tastebuds. As a coffee taster I notice many coffees are most bold on the back of the tongue, on the front of the tongue, or right in the middle. When a coffee feels bold in all areas, that is what I see as a bold coffee. I mixed sweet chocolate tones at the start with a coffee with great citrus body and nutty tones, with another coffee that adds some really good zip at the end, and played with the balance until I found it just right to both brew as espresso and as a regular pour over.
