Kenya AA Kabngetuny Women Owned Light Roast Coffee

$18.00

This is a truly special coffee. Amazing taste, and a really great cause supporting women-owned coffee farms. The women of the Kabngetuny Farmers Cooperative Society (FCS) work with Fairtrade Africa and the Growing Women in Coffee program to produce this coffee. Generally women in coffee growing communities in Kenya contribute a large portion of work while owning very few of the coffee farms. This coffee is produced by 100% women owned farms where a fair price is paid for the coffee and the money goes directly back to the women who grow this coffee. Produced by 371 female smallholders working with the Kabngetuny Farmers’ Cooperative Society.

Tasting Notes: This light roast Kenyan specialty coffee has a complex body with a tart mango citrus acidity. Some red wine qualities as well. Notes of juicy plum and grape. Gentle finish. One of my favorite coffees of all time. This is an excellent coffee for lovers of fruity, complex, or floral coffee. From the Kericho region of Kenya.
